Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to limit his prayer only to the extent of expeditious disposal of the interim maintenance application in petition bearing Misc. Case No. 36 of 2024 under Section 144 of the BNSS, 2023.

In view of the submission made the petition is disposed of with the direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court at Calcutta to dispose of the of interim petition in Misc. Case No. 36 of 2024 expeditiously after putting other party or notice and giving them opportunity of being heard in accordance with law. 3.
