Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the police authorities on 10.08.2024 no steps were taken by the police authorities.

The accusations made relate to trespass, theft committed in a dwelling house inclusive of list of materials which were appended along with the complaint.

Affidavit of service be filed be kept with the record.

Learned advocate for the state submits a report which reflects that Nimta Police Station Case no. 295/24 dated 29.09.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant sections of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Petitioner complains that only case has been registered and no effective steps have been taken for recovery of the articles which have been appended along with the letter of complaint.

In view of the apprehension expressed by the petitioner, police authorities would take effective steps for tracing out the materials which have been appended in the complaint by way of a list and put in efforts for recovering of the same.

Since the investigation has commenced very recently I direct that the police authorities would effectively conduct the investigation and take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 24413 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
