1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and the nature of injury which appears to be simple and recording of the undertaking of the petitioner that he shall return the Stridhan articles in presence of the I.O. and will make all endeavour to resolve the matrimonial dispute, we are of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary.

3. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner namely, Akram Mandal @ Akram Mondal, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/-, with two registered sureties of like amount each, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also to comply with the conditions as laid down under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023. The petitioner shall meet the I.O. once in a week till the submission of the final report. Signed By :

4. It is further directed that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tehatta, Nadia in connection with S.L. No. 1612 of 2024 by 8th October, 2024.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is disposed of.
