Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record. Learned advocate for the petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer for bail. It is contended that the petitioner is in custody for more than 3 years and 8 months. It is further stated that rest of all the accused persons are on bail and on any stringent condition the petitioner may be released on bail. On the other hand, learned advocate for the State submits that the examination-in-chief of the victim is in progress.

In view of the stage of the case, at this stage, it would not be appropriate to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 1852 of 2025 is dismissed. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the stage of Section 35 of POCSO Act is over.
