This is an application for restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed for default on 23rd December, 2024.

The application for restoration was filed on 6th January, 2025.

After going through the explanation given, I find that the applicant/writ petitioner was prevented by sufficient cause from appearing before the Court when the matter was taken up and ultimately dismissed for default.

In such circumstances, the order dated 23rd December, 2024 is hereby recalled.

The writ petition being WPA 24364 of 2024 is restored to its original file and number.

CAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of accordingly.
