The petitioner was intercepted at the immigration wherefrom it reflects that the petitioner in 2012 had Bangladeshi Passport and departed from Dhaka. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that on any stringent condition, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered that the police authorities have registered the FIR on the basis of the information furnished by the Immigration Officer and the Bureau of Investigation, ICP, Haridaspur as also the fact that the foundational materials are connected on the basis of the same, I am of the view that it would not be fit and proper to release the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 1862 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
