1. We have heard the learned advocates for either of the parties.

2. A copy of the communication sent by the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas to the learned counsel appearing for the State dated 18.12.2024 has been placed before this court from which it is seen that inspection was carried out by the Municipality and found that this structure has been demolished and no construction has been going on. Further, the Municipality has stated that no sanction plan has been applied for by the club.

3. The said submission made by the District Magistrate as well as the Chairman of the Dum Dum

Municipality is placed on record and the Municipality shall ensure that no construction is put up on the land in question unless and until an application is made for grant of planning provision and the same is considered and sanction in accordance with law. The Municipality shall also conduct further inspection as to whether there are any other encroachments in the playground area.

This contempt application is disposed of.
