Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than seven months. Another accused who has been implicated in connection with the instant case has already been released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the case is yet to be committed to the Court of Sessions.

Learned Magistrate in seisin of the case is directed to immediately conclude the stage of supply of documents and commit the case to the Court of Sessions.

At this stage CRM (M) 1850 of 2025 is dismissed.

Petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer of bail after the stage of consideration of charges is over. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
