The affidavit of service filed by the learned Advocate for the petitioner in Court today be kept on record.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 31st October, 2022 as Conductor from the CSTC.

The petitioner claims interest on delayed payment of provident fund, gratuity and leave salary. 4.
It is now well settled that delayed payment of terminal benefits causes immense hardship to an employee.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the respondents to pay 6% interest on the entire amount of provident fund, gratuity and leave salary from the date of retirement till the actual date of payment, within a period of 45 days from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
