Petitioner is in custody for 81 days. He submits allegation of rape is false. He prays for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the crime. Medical report shows injuries on the victim. 4.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
