Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of S.C. no. 84 of 2021 pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Third Court, Barrackpore, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that 12 out of 19 charge-sheeted witnesses have been examined in full. Prosecution has informed the learned trial Court that only one more witness shall be examined. In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

C.R.R. 4206 of 2024 is disposed of.
