The Inspector-in-Charge, Canning Police Station, Baruipur Police District has filed a report dated 9th November 2022 and the same is taken on record. It appears from the report that first charge sheet being Canning Police Station Charge Sheet No.390/2022 dated 27th September 2022 was filed at the instance of the petitioner. On the second complaint of the petitioner, proceedings under Section 107 of the CrPC have been taken out. On the third complaint of the petitioner Canning Police Station Case No.554/2022 dated 2nd November 2022 has been started and the investigation is going on.

It is ordered that the investigation into the FIRs be completed mandatorily and positively within a period of two months from date.

The civil remedies of the petitioner may be availed before an appropriate civil forum.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
