Abbasi ...for the Petitioner The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Serampore, Hooghly on May 07, 2024 in Sessions Trial No. 28 of 2019 directing issuance of warrant of arrest against her. The petitioner was on bail all throughout and failed to appear before the learned Court on the relevant date for which warrant of arrest was issued against her. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Court on the next date fixed before the learned Court which is tomorrow, i.e., January 17, 2025. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Trial Court on January 17, 2025, she will be permitted to remain on the same bond.
In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Trial Court on the said date, the learned Trial Court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.
The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner in connection with the instant case be stayed till January 20, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The revisional application being CRR No. 4207 of 2024 is disposed of.
