(Via Video Conference) Mr. Manik Lal Poddar ...for the petitioners Ms. Sanghamitra Nandi, Mr. Suprabhat Bhattacharya ...for the State Learned counsel representing the State in the instant application being CAN 2 of 2020 submits that the writ petitioners were not entitled to consideration since they have not been found to be existing and teaching in the school at the time of sponsorship. A reasoned order may, therefore, be passed by the respondent no.2, the Director of Mass Education Extension, Government of West Bengal, within a period of one month from date. The order that may be passed shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

The petitioners and or their legal representative shall be heard in person by the respondent no.3, the Director of Mass Education Extension, Government of West Bengal.

The aforesaid order is passed at the submissions of the counsel for the State.

In view of the above, CAN 2 of 2020 shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
