This is an application for a direction upon the trial Court for expeditious hearing of NDPS Case No. 287 of 2021. It is ascertained from the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioner that in connection with the above mentioned case charge sheet has been filed on 13th June, 2022.

Charge has not yet been framed. It is needless to say that trial begins with framing of charge. When charge has not been framed, any direction for expeditious trial becomes illusory. Considering such stage of case, I am not in a position to grant any relief to the petitioner.

The instant revision is dismissed.

However, this order will not debar the petitioner from making similar application at a later appropriate stage. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
