Such application is yet to be finally decided.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the application could not be processed with expedition due to the ongoing pandemic. He submits that Authorities issued a notice dated July 24, 2021 to the petitioner. The date for hearing is fixed on July 30, 2021 at 12 noon.

In such circumstances, it would be appropriate to request the Authorities to decide the application for grant of licence as prayed for by the petitioner within a fortnight from July 30, 2021. The Authorities will communicate their decision immediately on the Authorities taking it to the petitioner.

WPA 21963 of 2019 along with the connected application is disposed of accordingly.
