The learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been operating a "Haat" at Vill.-Norghat, P.S.-Chandipur, DistrictPurba Medinipur, specifically at Plot Nos. 1017 and 1034.

The attention of this Court has been drawn to a certificate for land conversion issued by the District Land & Land Reforms Officer, dated September 28, 2024.

The petitioner expresses concern that, despite continuously operating the "Haat," the Executive

Officer of the Chandipur Panchayat Samiti has not renewed his license. The petitioner further alleges that, despite making repeated representations, his request has not been addressed by the relevant authorities. However, I find no justification for keeping the writ petition pending. I hereby direct the Executive Officer, respondent No. 5, to consider the petitioner's prayer for the renewal of his license within three months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with applicable laws.

The petitioner shall be given an opportunity to present his case in the decision-making process. Accordingly, WPA 24400 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
