Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than one year and the investigation of the case has been concluded. There has been no progress of the case.

On the other hand learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the case was committed to the Court of Sessions, thereafter evidence has been recorded in full swing presently. The last of the report reflects that on 27.10.2025 and 28.10.2025 date was fixed for examination of CSW12, CSW13, CSW14 and CSW15.

Having considered that substantial evidence has progressed in the present case within a reasonable period time, I am of the view that at this stage the petitioner cannot be released on bail.

Consequently, CRM (M) 1868 of 2025 is dismissed. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
