Mr. Mahim Sasmal ..for the petitioner Mr. Rezaul Hossain ..for the State According to the petitioner, the selection committee had found the petitioner to be eligible for selection as an Asha. She was directed to approach the selection committee with all original documents. It is alleged that on September 3, 2022, the petitioner submitted all the documents in original, for verification. Thereafter, although other persons were engaged upon completion of the selection process, the petitioner had not been issued an engagement letter. With the above allegations, the petitioner approached various authorities for redressal of her grievances.
The Sabhapati, Harishchandrapur-II Development Block asked the Sub Divisional Officer, Chanchal to enquire into the matter and do the needful.
Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Sub Divisional Officer, Chanchal to dispose of the representation of
the petitioner dated October 17, 2022 at page 34 of the writ petition, in accordance with law.
The petitioner shall be intimated the reasons as to why she was not finally selected for the post of Asha. Such intimation shall be provided to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.
This Court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the petitioner.
This writ petition is disposed of.
There will be, however, no order as to costs. All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
