Report submitted by the learned senior standing counsel appearing for the State reflects that investigation of the case is in progress and steps have been taken by the investigating officer in connection with Nabagram Police Station Case No. 75/2024 dated 17.02.2024.

In view of the steps taken, I am of the opinion that there is no scope for the complainant to be aggrieved regarding the mode and manner of investigation. Let the investigating officer of the case take the investigating to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

Report so submitted be returned to the learned senior standing counsel appearing for the State in view of the present stage of investigation of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 24509 of 2024 is disposed of.

The observations made above are restricted for the purposes of disposing of the present writ petition and will not prejudice the rights of any parties in the writ petition.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
