And In Re : Sk. Dil Mohammad ..... petitioner Ms. Minoti Gomes ... for the petitioner Mr. Saswata Gopal Mukherji, learned PP Mr. Partha Pratim Das Mrs. Manasi Roy ... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits there is slow progress in the trial of the case. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits date has been fixed for recording evidence.

We have considered materials on record. There are ample evidence showing the petitioner murdered his wife. Date has been fixed for recording evidence.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
