The petitioner is sufficiently protected. The bank has categorically informed the petitioner, by a letter dated September 19, 2024, that coercive steps with regard to the property would not be taken in view of the order of status quo passed by the High Court in a civil revision.

Under such circumstances, the order of the District Magistrate has not been given effect to by the bank.

With regard to the propriety of the order of the District Magistrate, the petitioner is at liberty to avail of the remedy under the appropriate law. No further protection is required to be given to the petitioner by

this court, as the bank has refrained from taking coercive steps.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
