Petitioner submitted information with the police authorities, consequent to which Kalna Police Station Case no. 899/2023 dated 16.08.2023 was registered for investigation and on conclusion of investigation chargesheet was submitted against the accused persons. State has submitted a report. Report of the police authorities reflects that earlier information was furnished by the present petitioner wherein Kalna Police Station case no. 392/2023 was registered for investigation and the police authorities also submitted charge-sheet in connection with the said case. Report also reflects that there were proceedings under Section 144(2) of the Cr.P.C. and the police authorities have also drawn up proceedings under Sections 107/116 of the Cr.P.C. Having regard to the fact that the police authorities have taken steps pursuant to the information

so furnished, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred has been subserved. Accordingly, WPA 23637 of 2023 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
