It appears from the report and is also submitted by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the private opposite party that the 1st petitioner and the private opposite party are leading a happy conjugal life together. The private opposite party is not willing to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The criminal revision being CRR No. 4225 of 2024 is allowed.

As a consequence the connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2024 is disposed of.

The proceeding being G.R.Case No. 7446 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas be quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.
