As fairly pointed out by Mr. Naren Ghosh Dastidar, Counsel for the State, in the order dated 2nd August, 2022 passed in the main writ petition, in the 10th and 11th line of the fourth page of the said order, the date 31st December, 2000 shall stand corrected to read as 14th December, 2000.
Counsel for the State representing the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly has produced a letter dated 25th November, 2022 addressed to the Headmaster/TIC of Satberia High School (H.S), Hooghly.
It is mentioned in the said letter that post graduate scale of pay to the writ petitioner, namely, Bhakta Das Mondal, has been allowed vide Memo No. 272/Law/SE dated 21st November, 2022 by the State. The Headmaster of Satberia High School (H.S.), Hooghly has been directed to process the petitioner's
papers for pay fixation within three days thereof. It is not known as to whether the Headmaster of Satberia High School (H.S.), Hooghly has done so.
In the above circumstances, this Court finds that the order dated 2nd August, 2022 passed in the main writ petition has been complied with.
The Headmaster of Satberia High School (H.S.), Hooghly, shall expeditiously act in terms of the communication of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly dated 25th November, 2022, if not already done, within a period of seven days from date. Upon receipt of the calculations and fixation all arrears shall be released in favour of the petitioner within a period of one month from date.
The instructions of the State and the communication of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly are kept with the record.
The instant application being CPAN 1084 of 2022 shall stand disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
