Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, upon instructions, that during pendency of the writ petition which was filed seeking consideration of the representation filed by the petitioner, the same has been considered and that a fresh order has been passed.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the same and intends to challenge the action of the authority by filing a fresh writ petition.

Prayer has been made to dispose of the instant writ petition.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits, upon instructions, that the prayer of the petitioner seeking promotion has been allowed, and that the petitioner has been promoted to the rank of Acting Commandant ((GD/Tech/Law) IN SITU with effect from January 1, 2026 subject to promotable medical category.

Upon hearing the respective submissions made on behalf of both the parties, as it appears that the petitioner's representation has already been

considered and necessary order passed, accordingly, there is no requirement of proceeding with the instant writ petition any further. The same stands disposed of.

It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the decision of the authority in accordance with law, if so advised.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
