The writ petition is directed against an order dated March 21, 2023 passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal (WBTT) in O.A. 214 of 2017. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is a senior citizen. The challenge in the original application is directed against an order of the Appellate Tribunal. He submits that, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the proceedings.

State is represented.

It appears from the records that, the next date of hearing of the original application is on January 29, 2024. Since the writ petitioner is a senior citizen, it would be appropriate to request the learned Tribunal to give

precedence to the original application and endeavour to dispose of the same within three months from January 29, 2024 without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.

WPLRT 115 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
