The petitioner is aggrieved by the order of his dismissal from service on April 30, 2025. The petitioner submits that on April 16, 2025, a final show cause notice was given and without any further steps or opportunity being given to the petitioner, he was summarily dismissed from service on April 30, 2025. The petitioner has categorically submitted that no disciplinary proceeding was held nor any charge sheet framed, prior to his dismissal from service on April 30, 2025.

Mr. Das appears for the respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6 and submits that multiple notices were given to the petitioner and statements of relevant witnesses were recorded, inspite whereof, the petitioner chose not to appear at such hearing. 4.

The petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy available to him under Section 102 of the West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act).

The petitioner will approach the concerned Registrar within December 31, 2025. The Registrar or his duly authorized person will take up the matter and dispose of the same by March 31, 2026, in accordance with law.

6. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8. Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied.
