Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits there is no direct evidence connecting him with the crime. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the de facto complainant also opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered materials on record. There are statements showing the petitioner was last seen with the victim girl. Her belongings were recovered on the leading statement of the petitioner. Non-consideration of charge after rejection of bail by this Court was due to circumstances beyond the control of

the prosecution. Date has been fixed for consideration of charge in December, 2022.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
