The alleged contemnor no.1 is out of the country. His presence is excused by this Court. The other alleged contemnors are personally present in Court. Their personal appearance is dispensed with. 2.

Report of the Commissioner of Police, Howrah Police Commissionerate dated 26th February, 2026 filed in Court today is kept with the record. 3.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate General that Golabari Police Station Case has filed a chargesheet being C.S. No. 40 of 2026 dated 17th February, 2026 albeit with some delay.

Since the charge-sheet has been filed in the matter, this Court is of the view that nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the instant contempt application.

Let copies of the charge-sheet and the report be

made over to the Counsel for the applicant.

With the aforesaid directions, W.P.C.R.C. 33 of 2026 shall stand disposed of.

7.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

8.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
