Dismissed that the petitioner is in custody for more than 8 months. Although charge has been framed, but till date, there has been no progress in the trial.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that date has been fixed for evidence.

I have considered the statement of the victim lady before the learned Magistrate and I am of the view that there are incriminating materials so far as the present petitioner is concerned.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.

Petitioner would be at liberty to renew his payer for bail

after the evidence of the victim lady is over. Learned trial Judge is directed to ensure that efforts be taken so that the evidence of the victim is completed within a period of 90 days from the date of communication of this order. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1915 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
