1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. In spite of service, the victim is not represented.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and also having regard to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. which prima facie discloses sexual assault, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
