Mr. Tarun Kanti Ranga With CPAN No.193 of 2021 In WPA No.22039 of 2019 Biswapriya Roy Vs.

Mr. Tarun Kanti Ranga Mr. Arunava Pati Mr. S.C. Dhara ...for the petitioners in all the matters.

It is seen from the records that the alleged contemnor was directed to file a compliance report vide order dated January 27, 2022.

However, subsequently on February 15, 2022 the petitioners were represented through counsel but the alleged contemnor went unrepresented, nor was any

explanation furnished by the alleged contemnor for nonfiling of the compliance report as previously directed. Since, in view of the aforesaid developments and the allegations made in the contempt application, prima facie proof of contumacious acts on the part of the alleged contemnor is found, a Rule do issue calling upon the alleged contemnor to show cause as to why the alleged contemnor shall not be punished and/or dealt with adequately for contempt of court.

The Rule shall be made returnable on March 3, 2022.

The Department shall file a report on the returnable date on the fate of service of the Rule.
