1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the records.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved as her bank account with the Bank of Baroda, James Long Sarani has been frozen.

3. The petitioner submits that no reason has been made known to her for freezing the bank account.

4. Prayer has been made to direct the Bank to defreeze the said account.

5. Learned advocate representing the Bank produces instruction wherefrom it appears that the account of the petitioner stood frozen consequent to a complaint lodged by the complainant before the PI Cyber Crime Police Station at Gujarat Vadodara City Cyber Crime P.S.

6. The account of the petitioner has been found to be involved in fraudulent transactions. The

investment is alleged to be made arising out of share market scam.

7. It has been submitted that the Bank did not freeze the account of the petitioner voluntarily. It is the police who have actually frozen the account to prevent any further fraudulent transaction.

8. From the instruction placed before the Court today with a copy handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner, it appears that the name of the police station, the designation of the police officer, the mobile number and the e-mail number everything is mentioned therein.

9. As the Bank has submitted that the Bank was no where responsible for freezing the account, accordingly, there is no point in directing the Bank to defreeze the same.

10. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Court for obtaining necessary order for defreezing the bank account where the complaint has been registered.

11. The writ petition stands disposed of.

12. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
