Status report filed by the State be kept with the records. 2.

We find from the report that the autopsy surgeon being the PW 14 is in the process of being examined. Only the Medical Officer, learned Metropolitan Magistrate and the Investigating Officer remain to be examined after this. The next date fixed by the learned Trial Court is February 12, 2025 i.e., tomorrow. 3.

We, therefore, see that the trial is likely to conclude on an early date.

On perusing the deposition of the witnesses already examined, we find that at least two eye-witnesses have implicated this petitioner as one of the assailants. The charge is of murder. 5.

In view of the aforesaid and in view of the fact that trial is on the verge of conclusion, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 3380 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
