The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Howrah Municipal Corporation in passing a final order after the hearing was conducted on August 25, 2022 for deciding the objection filed by the petitioner against recording the names of the private respondents in respect of the Holding No. 8/1, Kaibarta Para Lane, Ward No. 6. Howrah.

The parties agree that on August 25, 2022 hearing was conducted. It appears that till date the final order has not been passed.

The concerned officer of the Howrah Municipal Corporation is directed to pass order apropos the hearing held on August 25, 2022.

The reasoned order shall be passed at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The said order be communicated to all the parties immediately thereafter.

Is it made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the Corporation. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
