Records of the writ petition reflects that the petitioner was aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the case being Gariahat P.S. Case No. 82 dated 08.06.2024 having been registered for investigation, neither any effective steps were taken by the police authorities nor any efforts were made to trace out the accused persons.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that investigating authorities have put in their efforts.

Having considered that such a representation was made on 10.09.2024 before the superior officer of police, I am of the opinion that as 11 months have passed, if the petitioner still is aggrieved by any action of the police authorities, he would file a fresh representation. Further directions in the present writ petition at this stage are unwarranted. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 24658 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
