Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner had contested the gram panchayat election as an independent candidate. In retaliation, the miscreants owing allegiance to the ruling political dispensation attacked the petitioner's husband and murdered him. The petitioner is an eyewitness to the incident. Although an FIR was registered, the same was not property investigated.

After the petitioner approached this Court by filing a writ petition, hurriedly a charge-sheet has been submitted. The person who has been framed in the case is not connected to the murder of the victim. The petitioner has filed a protest petition before the learned trial court.

Learned advocate for the State relies on the report and submits as follows. The allegations made by the petitioner are denied. After a thorough investigation, a charge-sheet has been submitted. A SIT has been

formed. It was found that the murder took place due to some other motive. The petitioner has already filed a protest petition agitating her grievance before the learned trial court.

Therefore, no order need be passed in the writ petition. The same is disposed of without any order as to costs.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to agitate all her grievances before the learned trial court at the time of hearing of the protest petition.

It is clarified that the merits of the case have not been gone into.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
