Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya ...for the petitioner Mr. Dr. Sutanu Kr. Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey ...for the WBCSSC Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By presenting this writ petition petitioner has prayed for transfer from his present school to another school. However, it has been submitted by the learned Advocate representing the petitioner that he was appointed based on his participation in first State Level Selection Test, 2016 (Class IX, X).

It is submitted by the learned advocates representing the parties that entire selection process i.e., first SLST 2016 (classes IX, X, XI, XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court at this stage no order need be passed. Hence writ petition is dismissed. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law in future if situation so arises.
