There was a dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents and both the parties lodged separate complaints before the police authority. The petitioners seek fair and proper investigation of the complaints since they are not aware why the complaint has been lodged against them.

Upon consideration of the submission on behalf of the parties, the police authority is directed to conduct fair, unbiased and impartial investigation of both the complaints and take the same to their logical conclusion in accordance with law.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over the area in order to avoid any untoward

incident and to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
