Petitioner None appeared on behalf of the petitioner, earlier when the revisional application was called on 18th November, 2023. Today also no one appears for the petitioner when the revisional application is taken up for hearing. The revisional application has been preferred challenging the continuance of Misc. Case No. 463 of 2017 including the order dated 23rd November, 2017 as also the order dated 16th May, 2023.

I find from the order dated 23rd November, 2017 that the learned trial court after coming to a conclusion that the petitioner happens to be an English Teacher of a Government School, granted interim maintenance of Rs. 7000/- to the wife and Rs. 4000/- to the minor daughter.

Having regard to the quantum of maintenance so awarded by the learned trial court by way of an interim measure, I am not inclined to interfere with the orders under challenge. Accordingly, CRR 3886 of 2023 is dismissed.
