The application for anticipatory bail is pending since October 5, 2023 when it was filed. It was first taken up for consideration on October 16, 2023. Thereafter, on one pretext of other, the petitioner is seeking adjournment.

Court is informed that there is a revisional application pending challenging the proclamation and attachment as against the petitioner.

Court is also informed that, so far as the attachment is concerned, there is an order of stay. However, there is no order of stay on the proclamation order.

Independent of such proceedings, we find from the materials in the case diary that the petitioner is complicit in the incident. The police case is dated August 12, 2022.

There is an issue of long absconsion also.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 4536 of 2023 is dismissed.
