Rakib (Rejected) CRM (M) 2264 of 2025 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Shasan Police Station case no. 264 of 2024 dated 14.11.2024 under Section 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Mr. S.S. Imam Mr. Nirupam Dhali ......for the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year 10 days but there has been no progress in the case before the learned Special Court.

Learned advocate for the State submits that charges have been framed and date has been fixed for evidence. Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2264 of 2025 is dismissed. Petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the examination of victim girl is over. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
