For the petitioners Mrs. Rituparna De Ghose, Ms. Rajnandini Das .. for the State Affidavit of service as well as the supplementary affidavit on behalf of the petitioner filed today is taken on record. The instant application under Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed for quashing criminal proceeding being GR Case No. 1118 of 2024 corresponding to Bankura Police Station Case No. 248 of 2024, dated 20.8.2024 under Section 318 (4) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

The allegation against the present petitioners is that they have taken money from the de facto complainant on representation of arranging for job which was not done. Investigation is concluded and charge-sheet is filed.

On perusal of case diary it is observed that strong incriminating elements against the petitioner including the documentary materials. Accordingly, this is not a fit case for quashing of the charge.

The instant application being CRR 4240 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.

It is made clear that observations made herein should not inference the Trial Court for passing subsequent order. Accordingly, the instant Criminal Revision stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to raise all these issues at the time for consideration all these charges and the Trial Judge without being influenced by this order shall consider all these issues. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Sugato Majumdar, J.)
