In compliance with the order dated 11th June, 2024 the petitioner is present before the Court and submits that he does not want to proceed any further with the hearing of the instant writ petition.

The learned advocate for the respondents submits that the petitioner's son is not entitled to get appointment on compassionate ground, since the incumbent had obtained a voluntary retirement.

Under such circumstances, the instant writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.

Copy of the order be communicated to the department for due compliance.
