1. In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, no prior service of notice is directed.

2. The present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed at the behest of the preemptor in a proceeding under Section 8 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act.

3. It is found from the records and from the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner that the proceeding is at the peremptory hearing stage and is pending since August 10, 2021.

4. I also find from the records that several dates have been fixed without culmination of the preemption case.

5. Accordingly, CO 3511 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Raiganj, District: Uttar Dinajpur to dispose of Miscellaneous Case No. 13 of 2021 (Preemption) pending before it as expeditiously as possible, positively within September 30, 2025. The petitioner shall communicate a server copy of this order and the

learned Trial Judge shall act on such copy without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy of this order for the purpose of compliance.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
