Learned advocate prays for bail of the petitioner under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Learned advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary.

I have perused the materials on record and, I find that the petitioner - being the sole accused, has slashed the neck of his mother-in-law when she refused to give him a sum of Rs. 1 lakh.

Having regard to the alleged heinousness of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail - as he may turn dangerous to the society, until and unless the trial court by way of evidence comes to a finding of acquittal.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 1959 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. CD be returned to the learned advocate for the State.
