1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner claims assistance of New Alipore Police Station from being evicted from a property admittedly belonging to the private respondents. The husband was a caretaker and was allotted a space in the property.

3. This Court is of the view that the remedy of the petitioner, if any, is before an appropriate Civil Court.

4. The police have no role to play in a private dispute.

5. It appears from the records that the respondents were last served only on November, 2022.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. The petitioner and New Alipore Police Station shall serve a notice of this order on the private respondents.

9. The petitioner shall notify the New Alipore Police Station of this order.
