Director General & Inspector General of Police, West Bengal has issued circular as follows :- "Officers-in-Charge of all police stations in the State of West Bengal to immediately intimate the specialized investigation team with regard to the registration of FIRs involving allegations of cheating individuals on the false promise of setting up 5G tower in their police stations. Upon intimation, the specialized agency shall take over the investigation of the said case." Officers-in-charge of all police stations in the State of West Bengal and Additional Director General, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), West Bengal shall scrupulously comply with the aforesaid circular.
