Act.

The attention of this Court is drawn to the orders so passed and it reflects that since 2019 date has been fixed for examination of defence witness. Next date is fixed on 20.11.2023 for examination of D.W.

Having regard to the fact that the defence witness has been continuing since 2019 i.e. for the last four years, I direct the ld. Trial Court to fix at least one date in every fortnight and complete the D.W. by 15th of January, 2024. Arguments to be completed by 15th of February, 2024. The ld. trial Court will declare its verdict on or before 15th of March, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3894 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
